"The Wake Of The Lacuna" was absolutely amazing. The best live show yet, in no small part due to the astounding performances this cast gave.

From left to right, that's Isa St. Clair as Abigail Airheart, Len Webb as Tom Brayve, Phil Thomas as Doc Cosmos, Andy Holdman as Operative 7, Sonia Williams as Rachnae.

Come out to the first ever live performance of The Voice of Free Planet X in Philadelphia! We're taking over the Art Church of West Philadelphia and turning it into the pulp-tastic headquarters of the End of Time Club for "The Wake of the Lacuna!"

There's no adventurers braver than the End of Time Club! With a roster straight out of pulp novels, there's nothing these daring explorers, daredevil pilots and dark vigilantes can't face!

Except perhaps, the loss of one of their own.

When the brilliant detective known as the Lacuna goes missing, its up the remaining End of Timers to make sense of the mystery. Part of The Philadelphia Podcast Festival!

Come see this live performance of an episode of The Voice of Free Planet X starring: Len 'Cruze' Webb as Tom Brayve
Isa St. Clair as Abigail Airheart
Phil Thomas as Doc Cosmos
Andy Holman as Operative 7
Sonia Williams as Rachnae
and Jared Axelrod as the host of The Voice of Free Planet X.

Event is free, but space is limited! The last live event was standing room only!

Well, not quite, but she might as well. The next episode is almost a monologue for VFPX VIP Whitney Strix Beltrán, and dang if she doesn't knock the whole business out of the park.

Y'all are in for a treat.

How can you not love Chris Morse's Supervillain Corner? It's only the best! Also, Chris not only lets me get away with my weird, out-of-the-box metascripts, he even voices Prof. Brainfever them! What a class-act.

Alasdair Stuart and Graham Wamsley had a tall order, having to sound incredibly bored the whole time, while John Davis had to be a bear.

I ask strange things of my actors.

How great was it to work with my actual brother on this episode? So great.

That's Kennedy Allen of The Black Tribbles, Joel Axelrod, Wesley Fenza (who is a lawyer in real life),  A. F. Grappin of The Melting Potcast, Kristen Firth, Daniel Levine, Sara Williamson. I ambushed Kristen, Daniel and Sara at a gaming event to improv some lines for the court, a because they are good friends and talented think-on-your-feet types, and they did not disappoint!

That's Veronica Giguere of Voices by Veronica, Christiana Ellis of Space Casey & Five More Minutes, out faithful cue-card holder August Grappin of The Melting Potcast,  Dave Robison of The Roundtable Podcast, Jason Gregory Banks of Talk Nerdy 2 Me, and me down in front.

I'm still amazing this thing happened at all. Everyone pictured here is amazing. Doubly so Christiana & Jason, who had spout my tongue-twisters of rap lyrics will wearing luchador masks.

This was an ambitious episode, and I was fortunate enough to have an ambitious cast to tackle it! Hillary Rea of Tell Me A Story, PJ Schnyder, Len Webb of The Black Tribbles, J.R. Blackwell, Fred Maske, Jennifer Martin and  Whitney Strix Beltrán all gave their all for this episode, and shows.

Well, I guess it doesn't show. Sounds? It totally sounds.

The Impressive Cast of "Son of Planet X"

This was not an easy episode to do, and I couldn't have done it without these remarkably talented women: newcomer Sonia Williams, VFPX VIP Whitney Strix Beltrán, and Taleisha Bowen. Taleisha, in addition to being a long-time friend and a gifted improvisor, is also a therapist in real life.

Seriously, folks, the caliber of people I get to work with on this show never ceases to astound me.

The fantastic cast of the latest #VFPX episode, "Pledge Drives"

How great were these folks? What a cast: Kate Axelrod, Andy Holman and Phil Thomas of West Phillians, Jennifer Steen of Jennisodes, Edison Carter and Ellen Kushner of Sound & Spirit! My cup runneth over.

Who wouldn't want that on your chest?

I'm also taking votes on what the Shirt of the Month should be for April. Make your voice heard! I'm curious as which one of these shirts you folks like the most.

The Stellar Cast of "How's It Gonna End"

Part of the reason "How's It Gonna End" is so great is the cast, the largest one yet. It's pretty much an all-star cast of my favorite web entertainments: Jason Banks of Talk Nerdy 2 Me, Phil Thomas of West Phillians, and Christiana Ellis of Space Casey & Five More Minutes join VFPX stalwarts Kennedy Allen of The Black Tribbles  and Chris Morse of Supervillian Corner. Rounding out the cast is Whitney Strix Beltrán, making an impressive VFPX debut as a character we're going to see a lot of in the future, and Kate Axelrod, who puts the button on the episode with the practiced disdain that can only come from growing up with me as a brother.

It’s October! That means a VoFPX shirt of the month! This one is based on the October 30th episode, Wolf Like Me!

But wait, you say. No one has had a chance to listen to Wolf Like Me yet! And, if you view time as a linear construct, that is certainly true. But I decided to roll out the shirt anyway, because it is, quite frankly, awesome.

Wolf Like Me takes place almost entirely on Mononoke, a island in the Pacific Rim that, due to  the unusually lethal nature of it’s flora and fauna, is more commonly referred to as….Monster Island!!!

They sell these shirts at the airport.

Voice of Free Planet X #177 drops Sept. 15 with the largest cast yet! Rasheedah Phillips, Alasdair Stuart, A. F. Grappin, Laura Burns & Erin Kazmark join me for a story about stranded time-travelers!

Episode #177, "Paused," has the largest cast yet and is one of my favorite episodes so far. Just look at this cast:

Rasheedah Phillips of the AfroFuturist Affair! Alasdair Stuart, host of Pseudopod! , A. F. Grappin & Erin Kazmark of The Melting Podcast! Laura Burns, president of The Parsec Awards!  Somehow, I convinced all of them to join me for a story about a support group for stranded time-travelers, and they were all fantastic.

"Paused" comes out tomorrow, and I just can't wait to have you hear it!

And I love it so much, I'm making it a limited edition t-shirt!

I am currently recovering from a very hot and extremely unpleasant bout with Martian Spider Flu.  So, that's where this weeks podcasts have gone.

They've been eaten.  By Martian spiders.  Let that be a lesson to you all.

Not to worry, however, as regular service will resume July 1st.   And it will be worth the wait.
